Yesterday was my birthday. I turned 36. It seems strange because I don't really feel 36 and now I'm closer to 40 than 30. But it was a good birthday. Saturday Dave and I went out. We went shopping (I always want new clothes for my birthday since I rarely buy myself stuff any other time of the year) and out to dinner. I love getting nights out away from the kids. Monday my friends took me to lunch and yesterday we went to dinner as a family and then came home for cake and gifts. Here are pictures of my birthday gifts taken with the new camera Dave got me:

My mom and dad got me tickets to see the ballet Romeo and Juliet. So excited. I have not seen a ballet in FOREVER.
